Welcome to Chorley New Road Primary School!

I hope this site will prove useful to new and existing parents and give the wider community a taste of the great things happening in school. We are very proud of our school’s history and the ethos that is evident as you walk around school. A great teaching staff, teaching assistants, support workers, lunchtime staff, cleaners, caretaker and supportive parents all make Chorley New Road the school it is today.

I am very excited about the future of the school and the opportunities that will be available for our children. Initiatives such as the French language teaching to all children in school from Year 1 upwards, our international work and the progress towards Eco-Schools Green Flag status have already begun and are having an impact on the way our children see the world.

The introduction of the International Primary Curriculum in September will further enhance the opportunities for all of our children.
