Welcome to Chorley New Road Primary School!

May I offer you all a very warm welcome to C.NR. Primary School. This wesbite is designed to give you a flavour of the school and what it is all about. It is a dynamic and friendly place where the needs of the children are put first, and where a high quality education is paramount.

As the new Head Teacher from January 2009 I am very excited about the future of the school and the opportunities that are available for all our children. In addition to the core subjects of the National Curriculum, the school also follows the International Primary Curriculum, thematic work that takes learning beyond the school to consider the world around us. There are plenty of plans to enrich the learning experiences for all our pupils in future months so that C.N.R. becomes the dynamic heart of the local community.
